What is a textwriter doing?
„The textwriter enables the redirection of the data stream into a text file.“ (Definition from the IT world)
The definition describes the working process of the Content Manager who transforms (unfiltered) information into a professional content. In my case textwriter means „copywriter“ or even: „Content Manager“.
textwriter vs. copywriter
There are plenty of self-proclaimed copywriters and content agencies on the Internet. Most of them produce mediocre SEO content on the assembly line in order to achieve the highest possible number of clicks for their clients‘ online projects. The job title copywriter does not interfere with trademark protection – everyone can call themself copywriter.
As a „textwriter“ I work as a licensed journalist (since 2001 DJU – https://dju-berlinbb.verdi.de), as a copywriter (see references) as well as a Content & Knowledge Manager (since 2012 on eBay). I’m at home in the advertising industry, in customer support and journalism.

Do I work worldwide?
Yes. I work for clients throughout Germany. For foreign customers, I require payment in advance (by appointment) – Meetings can be held via skype.
Do I bill my texts for the number of words?
The Internet is full of bad, „cheaper“ content. A successful content is measured not only by the amount of words, but above all by its quality. If you only need mass of online content, you should release an intern or employee for that task.
My work contains content on a higher level – customized and consistent. I calculate per hours, but I always create a package that includes all the necessary services from briefings, two revisions until the final version. That puts you on the safe side.
Do I offer professional translations?
No. For this there are numerous providers and tools on the internet. German customers do not like Google translated content. They are very discriminating. So I localize reviewed / approved translated content and cut them to core messages and target audience for the DE / AT / CH market.
